In this unique workshop, Bill Barrett and guitar player Michaela Gomez will give you a deep insight in the chromatic harmonica and fingerstyle roots guitar play. They will focus on improvisation and give you tips and tricks to improve your play.   Los Angeles harmonica player Bill Barrett spans genres from blues to classical to manouche. He has performed for more than three decades with sonic luminaries and acclaimed world music ensemble Hazmat Modine. Michaela Gomez has been living in New York City for 25 years. Michaela’s fluid technique encompasses a remarkable range of styles and musical vocabulary, from Delta blues to Gypsy swing to Sun Ra. 4 hours of lessons will be given on each day of the workshop for a total of 24 hours of musical instruction. As the number of participants is limited, this workshop promises attentive individual instruction where your personal musical preferences can be taken into account.
