Little Diamond Polka is a lovely Irish tune in D major, and it is suitable for newcomers to the genre. The melody is easy and it has only a few jumps on the harmonica for the larger melodic intervals. The melody can be effectively embellished and playing techniques such as octaves, drones and vamping can be used.

We play Little Diamond Polka in 1st position with a harmonica in the key of Low D in Standard Richter tuning.

The tune has an A and B part and each part is repeated twice.
